Interface update of Candidate Sharing with external users
In December 2024, a package of functional and graphical updates was released to the Candidate Sharing module with external users.
The changes made are aimed at making the sharing process even smoother and more customisable.
In this regard, we would like to remind you that the term ‘external users’ refers to all those, colleagues or not, who do not have a permanent account on Inrecruiting, but to whom a list of candidates can be shared for a limited period of time.
The first novelty concerns the pre-set duration of sharing. Previously, in fact, unless changed voluntarily by the user, this was set to one day by default. Now, however, by following the path System settings > Customisable fields > Candidates > Default candidate share time > Default expiration, each company can define this parameter independently by selecting one of the following options:
- 1 day;
- 1 week;
- 1 month;
- 6 months.
It is always possible to choose, during the share configuration, the precise expiry date by modifying the value preset by the system.
The second intervention consists of adding a new field called ‘Description’: a free text box in which recruiters can write information that can also be consulted by external users.
The most substantial update is the change in the logic and interface for assigning permissions on shares. In fact, we have moved from management by individual users to management by multiple groups, whose members will be assigned the same permissions.
As far as the graphical interface is concerned, the permissions assignment table has been redesigned, as visible in the image below, in order to make this process as useful and simple as possible for platform users. Now, in fact, the scrolling of the various options available is vertical and no longer horizontal, a graphic element that allows better navigation of the page.
Finally, the list of candidates registered for vacancies shows the icon next to candidates who are currently shared with one (or more) external user(s), to allow users to quickly identify shared profiles.

New Inda Features and Updates
We are happy to announce that, in the coming weeks, new updates will be made available for Inda, our proprietary artificial intelligence technology specifically for recruiting and talent acquisition.
The first development we have focused on is improving the performance of the CV Parser module: a tool that allows us to extract candidates' information directly from their CVs. Specifically, the updates we have made are aimed at increasing both the quantity and the degree of precision of the data extracted, so that our users can increasingly rely on the functionalities of our platform when carrying out search and selection activities.
The second new feature concerns the introduction of the CV Summary Generation module: a tool that will provide recruiters with a summary of the most relevant information contained in candidates' CVs.
The benefits of this functionality are many; it will, for instance, allow users to analyse and evaluate various profiles in less time, having structured and synthetic data on which to base themselves, without having to analyse CVs in their entirety. In addition, it will be possible for Inda to carry out this activity based on documents in various formats and languages, in order to broaden the tool's usability as much as possible.
Further information on the new features of Inda and Inrecruiting will be made available in the next Release Notes.
