The integration between Inrecruiting and Indeed allows you to optimize job posting publication and the management of applications received through the portal, improving the effectiveness of your recruitment process.
In this guide section, you will find all the information you need to properly configure the integration, enable the available features, and make the most of the tools that connect your ATS with Indeed. From core settings to advanced options, every step is designed to help you attract more relevant candidates and simplify recruiters' daily activities.
Note: According to Indeed's policy, companies and recruitment agencies must sponsor their job postings in order to gain visibility on Indeed, as described here: https://indeed.my.site.com/employerSupport1/s/article/360018069792?language=en
Note: Statements added at the end of job advertisements, such as “This job posting is open to candidates of all genders, in accordance with applicable legislation”, will unfortunately not be taken into consideration by our Quality Team. The required change must instead be made directly in the job title, as indicated above.
Indeed Reference Email
In this field, you must specify the email address that Indeed will use as the contact reference for validating job posting publications.
All job postings sent to Indeed must include a valid email address associated with the company's corporate domain. Generic email providers (such as Gmail or Yahoo) and missing email addresses do not meet this requirement.
This policy will take effect on October 31, 2026.
Job postings that do not comply with this requirement after this date may experience reduced visibility on Indeed.
Indeed Apply
Indeed Apply provides a simple, mobile-optimized application experience. Candidates can apply and use their Indeed Resume to complete their applications from any device, including mobile devices.
Indeed Apply also supports screener questions (see below) and can be configured for most custom application processes, ensuring you collect all the information needed to make the best hiring decisions.

Screener questions
By enabling Screener Questions, available through the Indeed integration, candidates can directly complete the questions and fields mapped to the Inrecruiting registration form on the job board, as well as view and accept the privacy policies configured by your company in the ATS.
After registration, Indeed sends all information entered by candidates to Inrecruiting via API. As a result, the candidate profile in Inrecruiting will already contain the information of interest to your organization, as defined in the form associated with the published job posting.
Note: At present, Indeed does not support all the field types available in Inrecruiting.For example, fields of type "Validated Mobile Phone Number", which in Inrecruiting require users to select a country code from a dropdown list and then enter a phone number that complies with validation rules, are displayed in Indeed as simple text fields.
The same may occur with geolocation fields. While Inrecruiting requires candidates to select values from a dropdown list to enable geolocation and distance-based searches, Indeed displays these as simple text fields. Therefore, if candidates enter incorrect values, the information will not be geolocated in Inrecruiting.

Indeed Tracking Code
Conversion Tracker is an Indeed-generated, client-specific tracking beacon or pixel that can be used by a client to track Indeed as a source of applicant. Once Conversion Tracker has been put in place for a client by the ATS, the client can come to Indeed and see in their Indeed account the conversions that result from job advertisements. Conversion Tracker also enables Indeed to better detect or anticipate technical issues or broken links within employer campaigns.
How does Indeed’s Conversion Tracker work?
The code is installed in the page that is displayed after the job seeker has completed the job application (typically the "thank you" page). This code then “talks back to” the Indeed advertiser site, sending a signal that Indeed provided the applicant for that job. This is a simple counting signal; Indeed does not and cannot collect any information via Conversion Tracker.
To enable this feature you need to go to System Settings > External Systems > Indeed Configurations > Indeed tracking code.
Disposition Data
An integration is available to help improve the quality of applications received through Indeed.
Enabling Disposition Data allows the sharing of information related to a candidate's status changes throughout the recruitment process in Inrecruiting, helping Indeed better target candidates who interact with your job postings.
Information about a candidate's status, or sequence of statuses, is processed whenever a recruiter interacts with that candidate within the ATS. Examples of Disposition Data include statuses such as "Interviewed", "Rejected", and "Hired".
The data sent to Indeed is associated with an anonymous application ID, together with the relevant date and time.
Sharing Disposition Data with Indeed can help you attract higher-quality candidates for your job postings.
Whenever a recruiter updates the status of a candidate whose application originated from Indeed, Inrecruiting sends the new status signal to Indeed along with an anonymous application ID and the timestamp of the update.
