Application status indicates the status of the candidate for a specific vacancy and allows you to track his progress into the workflow of each vacancy. Each candidate has a specific Application status for each vacancy to which he is registered.

You can create or edit an Application status to be assigned to a candidate, clicking  System settings > Process management > Vacancies > Application status.

When creating a new Application Status it is necessary to select which Category of the Hiring Pipeline to associate it with:

  • Standard: the status must subsequently be mapped for each active Pipeline in one of the 4 available categories (Screen, Interview, Evaluation and Offer);
    To map the status click on it and use Drag-and-Drop to move it to the correct column/position:

  • The Hired and Disqualified categories are "fixed" for all Pipelines.

Then you can quickly assign it to each candidate through the column Application status.

You can also add an Application Status to more candidates simultaneously, selecting them by clicking on the sidebar of the candidates list and than on Select > Edit Application Status.

Furthermore, Inrecruiting allows you to choose for each Vacancy which Application status to use in order to have a personalized selection workflow.

To do this, a dedicated Hiring Pipeline must be created and associated with the vacancy.

By accessing the System Settings > Process management > Vacancies > Hiring Pipeline > Notifications section, you can customise the messages (feedback) to be automatically sent to the candidate, after assigning them an Application status.

NB: it is possible to customise the automatic message associated with an Application Status for each available pipeline.

After selecting the relevant Application Status, you can add the fields relating to the Sender, the Subject and the Message text.

At this point, when you go to change the Application Status within a given vacancy, you will be automatically asked whether to send the pre-set notification to the candidate.
