Differences between Candidate status and Application status

You can add or edit the Candidate status by clicking on System settings > Customisable fields > Candidates > Candidate status and the and Application status on System Settings > Process management > Vacancies > Application status. 

 

- Candidate status indicates a generic status of the candidate, not linked to a specific vacancy, but to the overall quality of the candidate profile for your company. It is useful, for example, to track the current status of the candidate in the selection process. The Candidate status is unique for each candidate. 
 
- Application status indicates the status of the candidate for a specific vacancy and allows you to track his progress into the workflow of each vacancy. Each candidate has a specific Application status for each vacancy to which he is registered. 

 

It is possible to assign a status to the candidates using the columns Application Status and Candidate Status in the Applicants Tab in each vacancy. 

 


It is also possible to add simultaneously an Application or Candidate Status to multiple candidates, selecting the relevant ones by flagging the left box and then selecting Modify Application/Candidate Status in the menu at the bottom of the page. 

 

 


From the section System Settings > Process management > Vacancies > Hiring Pipeline > by clicking on the icon it is also possible to customize the messages to automatically send to the candidate when he is assigned an Application Status.
