The Notification Center contains both system notifications and product updates (What's new).
This section is designed to centralize all important notifications and facilitate the management of activities and communications.
Types of Available Notifications
In the Notification Center, users can view and manage the following notifications:
- Tags in Comments: You will receive a notification whenever a colleague tags you in a comment on a candidate’s profile. This feature helps you stay updated on relevant discussions without having to manually check each profile.
- Vacancy Owner: If a colleague sets you as the ivacancy owner for a vacancy, you will receive a notification. This allows you to immediately know when you’ve been assigned to manage a new jvacancy, ensuring you can take charge of the associated responsibilities.
- Job Order Owner: When a colleague sets you as the internal contact person for a Job Ordert, you will receive a notification. This is essential for efficiently monitoring and managing Job Orders, ensuring you’re always aware of your new responsibilities.
- Client Owner: If you are set as the contact person for a client, you will receive a notification. This enables effective communication and continuous relationship management with the client, improving overall client handling.
- Task Assignment: Every time a colleague assigns you a task, you will receive a notification. This helps you keep track of your activities and manage priorities in a more organized and productive way.
- Candidate List Sharing: When a colleague shares a candidate list with you, you will receive a notification. You’ll be able to directly access the list to view the shared candidate profiles.
- Job Request Approval: If you are set as the “approver” of a job request, you will receive a notification when it’s your turn to approve the request.
- Interview Invitation: When a colleague invites/removes/modifies an interview via the Inrecruiting Calendar module, you will receive a notification that links to the interview details.
- Candidate “Reservation” Expiry: You will receive a notification when your “reservation” on a candidate expires.
- Ondemand Form Completion: You will receive an in-app notification when a candidate completes the Ondemand form you sent them.
- Questionnaire Completion: If you manually send a questionnaire to one or more candidates, you will receive an in-app notification as soon as the candidate completes it.
How to Access the Notification Center
- Quick and Easy Access: The Notification Center is accessible directly from the main navigation bar of the application. Just click the notification icon to open the section.The icon will appear highlighted when there are new notifications to read, and neutral when all notifications have been viewed.
- Clear and Organized Display: Notifications are presented in a clear and organized format, with details on who generated the notification and the relevant context.In the Notification Center, you’ll find both notifications about activities you’re involved in and the What's new section, which includes all important communications sent by Inrecruiting regarding system updates and new features.
Notification Management
Users have control over email notifications. If they prefer not to receive notifications via email, they can disable them in their profile settings (Manage your account > Notifications).
However, in-app notifications will always remain active to ensure no mention is missed.
The following notifications can be disabled:
- Candidate unsubscription from a vacancy where the user is the vacancy owner
- Assignment of the user as the owner for a vacancy
- Assignment of the user as the owner for a client
- Mention of the user in a comment
- Assignment of the user as the owner for a job order
- Task assignment to the user
