Semantic Search

Modified on Thu, 3 Apr at 12:05 PM

Thanks to Inda's technology, it is possible to perform semantic searches in the Candidate Search (Candidates > Search > Semantic Search).

Semantic search includes the meaning of words and the user's intention. In this way, when you search for a candidate in the CV database you no longer need to enter the exact word you are looking for and you do not risk rejecting qualified candidates who use different words in their CV.

Therefore, by using semantic search, the system will recognise the meaning of the word and related phrases and suggest candidates who fall within the correct parameters even if they have used different words within their CV.

It is also possible to give each keyword a specific weight so that results are returned favouring one characteristic over another:

Hovering the mouse cursor over the candidate's profile picture will also show the Evidence, i.e. the keywords for which the candidate was included in the results as being relevant to the keyword typed in the search.
