Customisable fields

When working with Welcomin, it’s important to know that every piece of information entered into the system can impact multiple areas of the platform. A concrete example is the Profession/Role field, found in the Settings > Customizable Fields section. This entry is not just a label: it’s a key element used in contracts, statistics, and search filters.

By entering this section of the settings, the user can view the list of available values for the Profession/Role field.

These values are the ones that will later be selected in the Information tab within each contract. But it doesn’t end there: the entered professions/roles also feed into the Profession/Role Overview available in the Dashboard, offering an aggregated and useful view for data analysis.

Moreover, when accessing the Contracts > Search Filters section, it is possible to filter contracts based on profession/role, making data consultation easier and faster.

Managing these values is very intuitive. In addition to viewing the default ones, you can create new entries by clicking the "New profession/role" button.

During creation, it will be necessary to enter the value in all active languages on the installation, to ensure correct multilingual display in every context. The only mandatory language will be the one defined as the default language.

Each value can be edited by clicking the pencil icon on the left. If you want to reorder the values, simply click the icon and drag the items to the desired position using the drag-and-drop functionality. Finally, to hide a value without deleting it, you can click the winking icon : the value will become invisible and will no longer appear in selectable lists, while still remaining available in the system.

This section is designed to offer flexibility and control, allowing each company to customize the system according to its organizational needs. Careful management of customizable fields, and in particular of the Profession/Role field, helps make Welcomin an even more effective tool, aligned with the operational reality of those who use it.
